Akio Nagasawa Gallery Aoyama is pleased to present 'RENGE,' a solo exhibition by Ichiro Tanida.

Born in Tokyo in 1965, Ichiro Tanida has been active in numerous fields such as an illustrator, graphic designer, and computer graphics creator since the late 1980s. In 1994, through his CD-ROM work, which links computer graphics and music together, he was recognized for his unique universe. After that, he started producing advertisement series, utilizing his CG production experience. Tanida worked as a CM director, directing more than 30 works every year. Since 1990, he has been producing video works, also been working as a VJ TECHNOVA since 2018.

In 2022, Tanida began broadening his expression as a contemporary artist. This exhibition, his second solo show, will feature paintings that have become more abstract after his first solo show 'GRAFFITI BUDDHA'. We look forward to your visit.
